The penalties for violations have become heavier
The chairman of the Food and Drug Administration announced the heavier penalties for violations of food.
In response to alleged food insecurity, Prophet Dinarwand, the director of the Food and Drug Administration, says that the penalties for food industry violations have recently been amended and heavier fines are imposed on them.
He continued: Recently, the Islamic Consultative Assembly has updated and approved the laws on cash crimes.
The chairman of the Food and Drug Administration said that in the government section, there are some offenses for reducing crimes that we are seeking to correct.
Dinardvand said about the smuggling of medical equipment and its mafia inside the country. Currently, around 1,500 companies are active in the field of medical equipment inside the country and compete with each other, and there is no mafia or monopoly on this matter.
